01Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your access to and use of Forma’s website, apps, and services (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
02Your account
You need an account to use most of the Services. Keep your login details confidential and let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Workspace administrators control who can access their workspace and what they can see.
03Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Free plan. The Free plan is available at no cost, with the limits described on our pricing page.
- Paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, based on the number of seats. Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your workspace moves to the Free plan at the end of the paid period, and you keep access to export your content.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in a written agreement.
04Acceptable use
Please use the Services responsibly. You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Services;
- Send spam or use automations to harass people;
- Resell the Services without our written permission;
- Reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it.
05Your content
You own the content you and your team add to Forma. You give us permission to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the Services for you. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to the content you upload.
06Connected apps and third-party services
The Services can connect to apps provided by other companies. Those apps are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. When you connect an app, you authorize Forma to exchange data with it as described in the integration.
07Changes to the Services
We are always improving Forma, which means features may be added, changed, or occasionally retired. If we remove a feature you pay for in a way that materially reduces the Services, we will give reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a prorated refund.
08Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or if required by law. Where possible, we will give notice and a chance to export your content first.
09Disclaimers
We work hard to keep the Services reliable, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Forma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts of [venue], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated terms.
